  • We've added a new link to our homepage - check out the new youtube link on the right side of the page. On our youtube channel you can see some new videos of a live performance at Next Door bar in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
  • 1.23.2010 - St. Patricks Day Show!!
  • Join Maru at Paddy O'Rourkes for a festive St. Patricks Day show! We'll be playing outdoors, weather permitting, from 3pm until 7pm! If you're not able to catch us there we will also be playing at Paddy's the Saturday before (3/13) where there will be bagpipes!!
  • 1.13.2010 - 1/15 Gig at Next Door Cancelled
  • Due to a miscommunication there will be NO gig at Next Door this Friday (1/15). Maru will still be playing the normally scheduled gig at Volume on Saturday (1/16). For you Next Door fans you will still be able to catch us there on January 29th!!

  • Maru has redesigned their website! You can find links to facebook, myspace, and the Maru store where you can buy a little Maru gear. Be sure and come out to see us on Friday, 1-15 at Next Door!

  • A last minute show has been added for this Friday - 1/15 - at the newly remodeled Next Door Bar. Be sure and come out, rock with Maru - new songs will be played!

  • 11.8.2009 - Next Door Reopening
  • We received word that Next Door is planning to re-open on 11/13, so Maru will be playing their gig on 11/14 after all. Next Door temporarily closed for remodeling so we're looking forward to playing on their re-opening weekend!
  • 10.27.2009 - Next Door Bar Closed
  • Unfortunately, the Next Door Bar, located behind Union Station in Cedar Rapids, is closed. That means that the gig we had scheduled for November 14th is canceled. However, you can come rock with us at Paddy O'Rourkes on November 21st.
  • 10.21.2009 - Last Minute Gig Added
  • Join Maru at Volume in Cedar Rapids for a Friday show at 9:30. This is a last minute gig so be sure and come out ready to Rock!!

  • Mike Day, drummer of Maru, just had his first child early this morning. Congratulations Day family! Come out to Tailgator's on 9/5 to congratulate Mike!
